Glam Street Salon

"My friend has gone to this salon for years, has spent thousands of dollars here and had good luck with them until a recent visit cost her most of her gorgeous hair. Kayleigh chemically burned 22" of my friend's hair and left her with 4 different shades of brown. When I saw my friend a few days later, her hair was uneven, burnt and severely damaged and she was visibly upset from what had happened. She inquired about having them "fix" the problem and, after two weeks, the manager intervened and offered to give her extensions and keratin treatments, etc. at HER EXPENSE. One day after this "solution" was offered, they proceeded to cancel all of her future appointments, blocked her from their page and then lied that they tried to solve the problem. I have had minor issues with salons in the past and all have been addressed immediately by the stylist or the manager. I am dumbfounded that a salon would do this to a loyal client, especially after the amount of money they charge for their services. I'd never set foot in this salon after hearing of their poor customer service. Buyer beware!"

"After years of coming to this place i left on January 19 sad, traumatized and to the point that i didn't want to see myself in a mirror. They chemically burned 22" of my hair and left me with 4 different shades of browns. My hair was dark brown. I wanted to color it chocolate copper on the dark side, nothing crazy! You would think that the owner will reach out and say something , never happened. I also have all the text where her employee refused to fix it and wanted me to pay her $500+. I am beyond sad, depressed, traumatized and honestly im adding all the pictures , receipts to prove all the years of me coming to this place and paying 300+400+ each service. The cherry on top the owner canceled all my future appointments. UPDATE: First the owner didn’t reach out until 2 weeks after and only because her employee failed to fix my hair. Then when they finally wanted to fix my hair I was being charged for the service. The owner finally called because I requested Kayleigh multiple times to talk to the owner. The extensions were like the hair treatment empty promises because at the end I got nothing. The hair treatments were canceled the same day of the only one in person meeting that we had. My husband called to ask why she cancelled the appointments. She said that it was because my husband posted a 1 star review. I checked and it was a Latin name so I guess it’s my husband lol If the owner was this responsive like she is in this reply in giving me all these solutions we wouldn’t be here writing on google after years of going to her salon."

"I found Glam Street after receiving an absolutely horrible haircut at another (well-known) salon in the area. Julia is magical! She does an amazing job cutting and coloring my hair. I've also seen Kayleigh and she is fantastic! Highly recommend Glam Street. So glad I found stylists that can cut thick hair and do an awesome coloring job. Everyone there is so friendly and professional."

I took a leap of faith and got a different color than what I normally do, and I wouldn’t have been able to do so without Ashlen’s knowledge and confidence.
