"There was a male employee working there and he’s very rude and not helpful. I asked for help on a couple products and he just stared at all of them and told me which one to choose WITHOUT giving me the pros or cons. I already felt like he didn’t want me there as I approached him. I felt pressured to just purchase the item… which I hate having that feeling. It felt like he was following me around the store to make sure I make the purchase too. Overall, I did not feel welcomed in the store. He was snaggy and had an attitude. I work retail too, and I understand the frustrations with problematic customers but I am friendly to everyone even when they are busy helping someone else, while I wait for my turn. It’s a sad experience for me. There’s other locations I’ve been to that has been more helpful and caring. If that is the experience you want, I suggest avoiding the male worker and ask one of the other workers for help. There is also the Crystal Lake locations where the staff is ALWAYS willing to help. One of the cashiers even tried to help me set up the best coupon to use for my purchase!"

"The employees working the floor were super nice and friendly, but the employees at checkout did not make me feel welcomed at all. Three of them were visiting with each other. None of them greeted me, so I approached one of them. I was checked out by an older woman. I tried using a coupon, and she insinuated that I had used it already. I never had. My sister and I said it probably was because it was a prestige brand. I’m not sure why the Ulta employee didn’t come to that conclusion first. Overall, she had a cold and inattentive demeanor. I understand the coupon wasn’t applicable, but she wasn’t very nice about it. Upon leaving, I told her I chose to have the receipt emailed to me, to which she replied, “What?” I had to repeat myself. I’m pretty sure I took my own bag at the end of the transaction and that she didn’t even hand it to me. Poor customer service."

"The entire staff from check-in to check-out was highly professional, courteous and fun to interact with and made the experience pleasurable. I was looking for a new hair stylist and found one in Chrissy J. Her attention to perfection/detail is exceptional. Thank you for a great experience. I'll be back!"
