"Avoid Luna flooring at all costs!!! I had nothing but problems with Luna from the time we signed the contract up through today almost 2 years later. We were sold what is allegedly a high traffic, water resistant flooring and paid for what we thought was a quality product. The flooring is not holding up well to normal family use and has started to bubble around the kitchen sink. When I called about the warranty I was informed my flooring was 11 DAYS past warranty and there was nothing they could do. The installation process was a total mess, the person installing was delayed several times, as was the flooring that they assured me was in stock when I signed the contract. Since I did my own tear-out this left my house looking like a mess down to the sub floors for over a month. Fast forward 2 years and I am having some work done to my kitchen. Luna tells me they cannot sell just a few boxes of flooring, that I would need to get a whole new quote for installation and everything thorough them as the price is "all inclusive" despite my having already paid my GC to install the flooring as part of my kitchen renovation. They will sell you the flooring, but buyer beware it ties you to this awful company for the life of that flooring."

"Worst carpeting experience! Sales person closed one room carpet deal for $704.00 on his tablet, no copy of contract left with us. Scheduled for Tuesday with instructions that the installer would call my cell phone prior to arrival. 4 installers show up at 8AM, with no call to my cell phone. None of the installers could understand the sentence, "You were supposed to call to give us notice." One installer said, "Ok. " Another installer just said, "Luna." I repeated the statement 3 times with installers slowly advancing toward me as if to push by. I said,"Wait a minute." I quickly prepared the room and allowed them in. 4 guys working in 12' x 10'. They finished quickly and exited hastily. Both doors in the room left open when I looked at the carpet. After they left, I closed doors to find huge gouges in the drywall from their tools. I immediately called to find out that Luna has a nice firewall setup to not allow me to contact the salesperson. The person answered the phone (Nikita) was not sympathetic and almost acted as though this happened a lot. She offered to send a message to the installer to have them contact us. Now, three days later, nothing. We filed a complaint with the corporate office. Empire Today, AKA, 21st Century, DBA Luna Carpeting. Although carpeting looks ok, the lack of communication, damage to walls, and inability to talk with someone in charge makes this company a Hard, Do Not Use! I would not recommend this company."

"Shop shop around before you give them a deposit. They'll keep 25% of the deposit after they tell you they can beat anybody's price and then once you give them the quote they'll tell you it's a 25% cancellation fee when they haven't even delivered the carpet. These guys are bait and switch crooks. They'll give you a high price and when you tell him you're shopping around they'll give you low price which is still higher than home depots. Stay away from them"

"They left nails all over my yard and driveway causing me to get a flat tire. They would not reimburse me for the new tire even though it was their fault. They also did not secure the carpet down properly. I asked them to repair it, but they did nothing and closed my account without me knowing. I called back 3 weeks later to find that out and start the process all over again to get them to fix it."

"We had a good experience initially working with the sales group on products, pricing, and options. We were looking for finishing flooring in two rooms in our basement where one room had a slope to a drain. The team was nice enough to send out an installer ahead of install to walk the slope and suggest best product and prep. Which was sanding down some concrete and leveling with new drain. We were happy at that point but ran into issues with the install operation. In our quote there was $450 for floor prep in the one room. When the installer showed up he had no equipment to sand/grind down high areas. They did a quick job of leveling a little bit of the floor and didn't put in a new drain cap. Very disappointing they were not prepared to do what they quoted and only ended up prepping for an hour or two. Next day they came back to lay the carpet and they laid it down over the open drain. They install team also dumped excess material on our driveway and yard. After following up with Luna they did send the crew back to add a $5 drain cap and clean up the debris (which I'd already done as I didn't want the excess leveler setting on the asphalt). Overall good instore experience but very underwhelming install and execution."
