Walmart

"Worst place for getting a cell phone. Even the super centers have un-qualified employees. It's like the enjoy telling you they can't do it. Walmart prices aren't low , I always see better prices elsewhere. Hire tech employees in tech dept, simple."

"This is about the auto ctr. My appointment for tires was at 1pm. I was there a little before. Was told there was a 2 hour wait. (Why make an appointment at 1 then). Wait facility had nothing but folding chairs. Car was done st 3:35. Saw the keys brought in and went to counter. Attendant started to check me out, then got involved with a return that was clearly a Walmart employee. Took 9 minutes for him to resolve the problem before he finished my transaction which took less than 2 minutes. Poor customer service ."

"Watch out for your change people really do!!!! So i went to the cashier in the register and our total was 57.00 my gradma had a 50 gift card we passed it and it passed the rest was 7 dollars however my gradma gave them a $100 bill after asking them if it was okay they said yes we did and the lady gave us $42, missing $50 i told them that it was wrong its simple math and the lady acted like she didnt hear me another older guy came and said something in their indian language i knew something was wrong. Thank God a manager came by and saw the problem even got mad at the employees knowing damn well we weren’t wrong its simple math yk, however their sum that just dont know. Thanks to the manager but damn somebody give those indian people a adding and substracting classes…"

"I just moved to the area within the last month and this Walmart is the closest in proximity. I placed an online order and I was given the wrong my item. I came to customer service and I was not greeted. I explained the issue and the cashier scanned my phone which had the receipt. She seemed to have issues with finding the item which we later learned that it wasn’t not scanned. She asked if the item was scanned, I said that it looks like it wasn’t and I was given the wrong item. She asked if I got the item from the Palatine store. She called someone to help. The guy came up; I informed him what I believe happened. He, too, asked which store I got it from. I wondered why it mattered considering it was Walmart. I had my receipt and I informed them that it was delivered. He then asked a question about the item - I said the same thing that the item was 4.97 and that I was given the wrong length. The initial cashier interjected and said, “I asked her that and she didn’t say that. I guess she didn’t hear me.” I responded, “I told you that I received the wrong length.” There was another question of which store I got the item from - at that point, I asked him to guide me on the Walmart app, so I could find the store. He couldn’t find it. I came in wanting to exchange the item for the correct length and they decided to just refund me in cash. It was not a great experience. This is the third and last time that I will come to this store. The rude encounters are ridiculous. The lack of customer service skills are evident in this facility. The initial cashier seemed stressed out - and it showed in our interaction. The fact that she would imply that I was lying was off putting. I’ll take delivery any day over these poor interactions."

"I was at the register, paid for my items, and I have a tax-exempt card. I signed the screen for the receipt, and the elder cashier wouldn't give me my receipt. He kept telling me he was not going to give me my receipt until I signed the printout receipt. This store needs to NOT have seniors on registers, especially if they can not remember how to work the systems. I was so disappointed by his actions towards me. I've shopped at this Walmart before and never had this stupid problem!"
