"Update: Went in and talked to manager, she scheduled me with someone else today at 3:45. Show up and the place is locked up tight. Had a haircut done by the "manager" Shyanne and it is horrible. I had a shoulder length bob when I walked in and just needed the front relayered to take out some bulk. Left with a mullet. Never even parted my hair while cutting. Won't refund money."

I can tell she cares for people's hair (for their growth, health and quality) and not just for the job to get done quickly (cause customers can get their hair colored at the time frame they have in mind, but at the expense of their hair's growth and health). "I had a very, very good experience at SmartStyle in EAST MOLINE. All the ladies were respectful. ALL wore masks. And yes to cut my hair the stylist did have me remove my mask briefly. All stylist followed guidelines and I didn't hear anyone being rude. Excellent job Ladies. 2 thumbs up."

"I’ve had exceptional service in the past here, but today led to a terrible experience. I stopped in about a month and a half ago and all covid 19 safety measures were still in place. Today was a completely different story. I showed up with a mask on just like I had done a month and a half ago, and I was promptly asked to take it off as I sat in the chair, even though they were able to perform the cut and shampoo process perfectly a month and a half ago during my last visit. After bringing up my last visit with the stylist, she “laughed” and said they wouldn’t be able to cut my hair if I don’t take it off. I should also add that none of the staff members were wearing a mask, and several were coughing and sneezing. I was also not offered a shampoo after my cut, even though I paid for the entire shampoo/cut package deal. The cut was rushed, definitely won’t be back again."
