"This place has gone down hill they charged my father 1700 dollars to have spark plug replaced and only replaced half of them then on top of that charged my stepdad and I for work that was supposedly done from an accident took it to a different mechanic to find out the work was never even done I’ve used this place for a very long time but now all they do is rip people off apparently said to say that what was once the best mechanic shop around has went to charging for services that aren’t even completed just to have another mechanic correctly do the job"

He brought my car right into the bay, figured out that the problem was something minor, fixed it, gave me a calender and sent me on my way - honest, efficient and caring! What more could you ask for?"

"We can't say enough good things about these guys. We were driving across the country with our toddler and started hearing some noises near our right front tire. Being on a tight timeline and 500 miles from home we were pretty stressed out. Decided to try Village Auto because of all the good reviews and the morning hours on a Saturday. Their website said they open at 8am, so we got their about 745am. They were already working on a couple cars, starting to get busy, and the owner told me it would be about 45 minutes before he could get us in. I told him we were in a bit of a desperate situation and tried to explain the noises. He stopped what he was doing and said, "let me just take it for a test drive and see if i can tell you what it is." When he came back he said he would finish an oil change really quick and get us in next. Turned out to be a bad wheel bearing. He gave me a fair quote and said it would probably take a couple hours. Since we didn't have a means of driving anywhere, they recommended a nice park down the street and gave us a few bottles of water. When we got back, the owner told me to take it for a test drive to see if i was satisfied. Never had THAT happen before. He also noted a noise from the brakes on the front right. After test driving it myself, i came back and said i heard it too. He already had another car in the service bay, but promptly took that car out and brought my car back in. Ultimately, he took apart and cleaned the brake assembly, took it out for a test drive himself, and then turned it over to me for another test drive. After that, everything seemed good. When i went to pay, it was actually cheaper than what they originally quoted and the owner said it was because it didn't take as long as expected so they adjusted the labor charge. While we were packing everything back up to head out, another customer was dropping his car off and struck up a short conversation with us. He couldn't stop saying great things about this place. We would highly recommend these guys and are extremely appreciative of their help. If you go here and they do a good job, please remember to give them a good rating. The ratings were one of the biggest reasons we went to them and there are quite a few other mechanics in the area."
