"My mother got a mattress from here recently. The sales man talked us into the adjustable base. He told us that the height was adjustable since it’s hard for my mom to get in and out of a tall bed. However after install we found out he lied to us. We got the 2 free pillows with the mattress. They are the most uncomfortable pillows ever! We also paid for the setup and removal. A time window was setup. Got a phone call an hour before the window and was told they will be there in less than 15min. I wasn’t home at the time so I had to rush home because it’s an automated call. The installers were not careful or professional at all! They dragged everything in and out of the house instead of carrying it. They walked through our front bushes instead of using the front patio stairs. They refused to take the bed frame even thou we were told they do. When they left, they left pieces of cardboard all over the driveway and street so I had to pick all that up. The whole buying and install was a pretty bad experience and I will not be using this store again."

"Went in to buy a mattress and adjustable bed frame since my daughter has purchased at this store before. Good pricing, quick and efficient. Sales man was knowledgeable and not pushy like other mattress places. When placing order and after placing order sales man explained everything on the receipt. Couldn’t be happier with the expected delivery date. Overall, very satisfied with purchase process and customer service. Would highly recommend."

"I bought a mattress from this location in the summer of 2021, against my better judgment I allowed the sales associate to talk me into buying a $1500 pillow top. He claimed that newer pillow top mattresses don’t wear down like they used to. He was wrong. In the first year that I had my bed, I slept on it maybe a total of 6 months, the following year about 8 months. I’ve rotated the mattress multiple times and use the recommended bed frame. The only comfortable spot on my bed is down the middle of the bed, which is infuriating because you can feel yourself dip when laying on the side of the bed, which you have to do when your significant other is sleeping with you. I recently called to find out how to use the warranty that the sales person said I have when he told me I had nothing to worry about. Filing a claim is a mission, first I have to drive to the store so that they can fill out a request for someone to come assess the mattress, this costs $100 which is not refundable. In order to use this warranty the bed has to be on a proper frame with 3 crossbars and at least 4 feet, there has to be a divet of at least 1.5” and there can not be any stains on the bed. Spending $100 is not in my budget and since I rotate my bed regularly I was not able to measure a divet easily. However the mattress has visibly compressed in areas which can be visibly seen in the photos attached. I originally thought I bought my bed at mattress firm and I stopped in at the closet store showed them pictures and they said all I have to do, is submit a claim online and send pictures and I should be good to go have my mattress replaced. This is when I discovered that I bought the bed at American Mattress, not Mattress Firm. Moral of the story DO NOT buy a bed at American Mattress their warranty is a joke and they obviously do not want people filing claims because you have to jump through hoops to do it. Mine and my boyfriends backs constantly hurt, the bed was only comfortable for the first 3 months. Oh and I think it’s important to note that we do not sit on the corners of the bed ever so how all four corners are sagging makes no sense. Shop anywhere but American Mattress!"
