"Be very careful if you think about doing business here or currently do business here. My mother who is a Senior, wanted to gift me with paying my auto insurance for a full year paid up front. They took payment info, issued me with auto insurance cards, and documents stating I was covered. Fast forward to 6 MONTHS later, I get informed that my premium was never paid to Erie insurance, and cancelled. for how long was I uncovered? That remains to be unclear as I have received different answers from Susie Stringhand, President of Stringhand insurance, that contradicts documents I received at the time. Susie admits that they didn’t pay Erie, but it was all a “mistake”. She insists that if I was involved in a accident during the time my policy was canceled by Erie, I would of been covered, but I find that highly unlikely that a insurance company who on record had canceled my policy, would step up and pay any claims on my behalf, due to Stringham’s office “mistake”. From my experience, insurance companies do anything they can to not pay, and this seems like a solid reason they would use to not pay. Google “Premium Diversion” and you will find that it is when an insurance agent or broker takes payment, provides documents to their customer, but never pays the insurance company, rendering the insurance policy never active. This is the #1 most common case of insurance fraud, and it is committed by Insurance Brokers and Agents. Sound familiar? Susie Stringham says she’s never heard of “Premium Diversion”. That’s very interesting, that a President of an insurance brokerage has never heard of the #1 type of insurance fraud committed, which is something that is perpetrated by insurance brokers. Really? Out of all the insurance broker license requirements, license renewal tests, classes, ethics courses, they never mention what the #1 Insurance Fraud committed is? that happens to be committed by brokers? So that brokers can make sure they don’t commit such acts, even by accident? A president of an Insurance Brokerage is completely ignorant to this? When it’s their duty to oversee an office of Insurance Agents/Brokers to make sure everyone is in compliance? They aren’t aware of the #1 type of insurance fraud that is perpetrated by brokers/agents? I find that very hard to believe. So tread carefully if you are thinking about doing business here. I also suggest to any current or past customers, That you contact the insurance company that Stringham insurance brokered your business to, and make sure they have been paid, and that you have (or had) an active policy. This could be a nightmare scenario if you are in an accident with major financial or physical damages, as you could very well end up liable for all damages, to yourself or another party, all on your own! But I was refunded , right? I mean there was a period of time I wasn’t covered, that I paid for. Wrong! Susie Stringham says I’m not entitled to any refund. Whether this is professional negligence, gross incompetence, or intentional fraud, remain’s to be seen. Well thats my review of my experience with this business."

"Shopped my insurance after being with a bigger company for 5 years. They were the most responsive and had the best price for same coverages with an A+ carrier. Easy decision to switch to Stringham."
