"A wonderful creek park in Austin with fun trails! Parking: The lot can hold about 20 cars (if parked efficiently). Finding a space can be a challenge if you visit later in the day on a weekend. There are still shards of glass from what I understand were multiple car break-ins from just a few months ago. We visited on a Sunday morning and all the cars in the lot seemed fine when we arrived and when we left. Definitely follow the Lock-Take-Hide car parking guidelines and do not leave anything valuable/not in sight. Dogs: Allowed on leash, although we met a few off-leash dogs as well (so hold your pups on a short leash if they are not always friendly). Trails: Clean, fun trails, well maintained although there are a fair number of protruding branches along the mainly rocky/gravelled paths. There are many sections which can get muddy during/after rains. You can choose from several trails, or create your own route with a mix - yellow, green, brown, blue. The green trail was most fun with two creek crossings (one is by the road, the other over a section of slightly mossy rocks in the stream). A great way to spend the morning with friends/family/kids/dogs!"

"We had a great time hiking on this trail. It is a simple kid friendly nature trail. The areas by the creek is specially kids favorite. We went on a December morning but I am sure it will be lot more fun during summer. Parking can be tight when crowded but we did manage to get one."

"Great trail for when you're wanting to simply get out and get some fresh air. Not difficult terrain, but extremely muddy after a rain, but that when the water levels are the best to cool off with a swim."

"Excellent trail, moderate and quiet. It's especially great on a sunny day as it is mostly shaded. Just be careful, as there is a risk of burglary in the area, as in most Austin trails. Do not leave valuables in the car"
