"You can see the amazing combination of natural environment and built environment in this park. I think whoever visit Austin should not forgot to visit this place. I can never forgot this place. Since, viewing place is at a height we enjoyed hiking with friends. We also enjoyed viewing transportation bridges from bird’s eye view. It was a great feeling. I had got a goosebumps seeing this place at first, thinking how could something look so beautiful."

"We saw this on one of the bus tours. We definitely could have stayed longer than the bus allowed, but the views are beautiful! Worth visiting while in the area. The bus driver did warn that if you're taking your own car, park it close to the stairs because there are SO MANY car break-ins on the daily."

"Recommended spot to capture best view from mount bonnell top and lake austin/colorado river. Free parking on the side of the road at the base of mountain. The 100+ stairs to get to top are relatively easy with low rise steps. There are two other gravel roads through the forest to get to the top."

"We went up for sunrise but missed it. Lots of fog, but the views when the fog burned off it was nice. The park itself has some graffiti, but other than that, it's a nice hike up. You can use the stairs or go up the hill. Both are great ways to see the views."

"Very unique place in Austin with magnificent view and nature. I enjoyed this place, special feeling being on the hill. If you are a foreigner or a tourist , try to visit it! I give 4 stars only for maintenance as there are a lot of people visiting this place unfortunately there are plastic bottles left, stickers, inscriptions, that makes really upset. There is parking very close and it’s free as well 2 ice cream trucks too. Very recommended."
