"UPDATE: After I sent a rather blunt email to his staff, Mr. Maxie called me to discuss the issues we faced. He maintains that his staff delivered everything needed to transfer the policy, but apologized for the communications issues. I acknowledged that I do not speak insurance jargon nor do I know the industry as well as he does, so part of the issue may have been on our end. There were definite communication problems, but I will take my share of the blame. I upgraded from 1 star to 4 because of his kindness on the phone and willingness to talk with a customer he knew he had lost. ********************************* We have tried for 2 years now to get our flood policy moved to a local agency. This year we gave notice 3 weeks prior to renewal, and yet they allowed it to renew anyway. Their response when we asked how to fix it was to tell us to call the national flood office and deal with it ourselves. Our local agent has been equally frustrated by their lack of assistance. They will take the easy money, but just don't ask them to do anything. I have never met nor communicated with Aubrey, but the office staff does not represent him well."
