"One of Amarillo's many historic eyesores"
"This building used to be the Amarillo Ice Company Warehouse, you can still see the name in faded paint on the top of the building. This is before refrigeration when ice had to be collected in winter and stored year round. The building was constructed in 1915 making it one of Amarillo's oldest big buildings. Today the building is in rough condition but is still standing, it's not open to the public but you can still drive by and look at the building. Palo duro panels has recently moved into the building, hopefully they do some much needed work to the building."
