"Lori's Shoes is a fantastic place for shoes. The customer service is wonderful and the in store staff are so helpful and the merchandise is on trend. For those people who have scuffs on their shoes, a shoe cobbler can fix scuffs with no problem. Who doesn't scuff up their shoes? Lori's is one of the only shoe stores still in business."

"Unfortunately this is my last time shopping at Lori’s due to their poor return policy on a shoe that I hadn’t worn that often. I paid $218.95 for these shoes and only wore them twice before the what was supposed to be leather wore on the tip of the shoe. I was told that I must have scuffed them on something but aren’t shoes made to be worn? I called and was told to bring them in for an exchange and then was told there was nothing they could do once I got there. I am a small business supporter and will always be... This unfortunate experience will not deter from supporting other small businesses but Lori’s Shoes were done."

"Bad products and customer service. Bought shoes that were ruined after one wear as it was impossible to clean a small scrub caused by someone who scraped my shoe while walking in the airport. Used a special leather cleaner but the leather became buffed. Lori’s was not willing to replace or refund despite the fact that they did not provide special treatment instructions for the shoes and said that “all leather shoes are like this”, and I should know myself how to take care of the shoes. Really wanted to shop local and help small businesses but will never return to this store."

"Very kind and helpful staff. They don't have a huge selection, but the shop is nicely curated. I got shoes to go with a formal gown, and the person who helped me also picked out lovely earrings that go great with my dress."

"I have bought several pairs of shoes at Lori's in Highland Park since moving back to town this summer, which is why it disappoints me to share this big customer fail. Last month, I purchased the L'idea (store brand) lug boot at $378. I loved them and wore them for one week. That's when the problems began. The "leather" began peeling off the right boot in two different places. I promptly brought the boots back. The store salesman was very helpful. He said they couldn't just replace them but would send them out for repair and that it would take one week. Nine days later, no word. I called to find them. The boot came back clean and buffed, but you can't do anything about "leather" that has peeled off. At this point I asked for a new pair or a full refund. Again, the very helpful salesperson said he was not authorized to do that, but I should call Matt at the downtown store. I did, twice. And left two lengthy voice messages. I have not had a return call. #CustomerFail $378 boots should last more than a week. Actually, any boots should. I think a store should stand by its product (L'idea is Lori's house "brand") and work with customers to do the right thing. It's too bad. I'd much prefer to buy shoes at a local shop than on Zappos or at a large chain. But, I won't shop here again."
