"We had a swim meet at the natatorium where this store is located. I bought a pair of $35 goggles from them on Saturday morning. My card had to be keyed in because the reader wasn’t working. That should be somewhat memorable in a 24 hr time frame. During warmups and most importantly, during my daughter’s race, the nose piece kept popping out of the bracket (which was not broken) and she had to swim with her goggles hanging off her shoulder during her backstroke. We thought it just wasn’t secure but the piece that goes in the bracket was too small for the hole which was why it wouldn’t stay connected. It was a defective item. Sunday morning rolls around and we return to exchange them and because we didn’t keep the receipt, they said no. Even though they were clearly new and it was same associate from the day before. So we buy another pair and she offers a 20 % discount. Are you kidding me????? You have the authority to offer a discount but not even exchange a pair of defective goggles. All we wanted was the exact same pair. That’s it. She could Keep todays receipt and send them back to Speedo. We had all the packaging. For $35 she made the decision that no was no on an even exchange and thought 20% off a new pair was the right thing to do.Yet we had to keep the defective pair. Shame on you. Shame shame. Clearly you were never a swimmer and had to face the humiliation of faulty goggles. Goggles don’t typically come off during backstroke. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered at any swim shop and the very last time I will ever step in that store. Buyer be ware. Zero stars from this long time swim mom."
