"7000+ yards from tips. Challenging course, lots of deer to see, nice greens and driving range. Disappointing, no food was available at 1130am...Definitely should do better there."

"Nice course, facility, and staff… but it is WAY overpriced and the management stacks tee times WAY too aggressively. 200+ tee times during winter is a joke, play is slow, and it’s almost double as the price that it was when I first started playing there. This is $65 course at best, and a 5 hour round makes even that a stretch."

"Virtually every hole on the greens are crowned. They don't know how to set the holes level. That said the course is challenging, though not a fan of trees in the middle of fairways. Bunkers are not sand and don't drain well. The starter weekday mornings is great!"

"Amazing golf course with Amazing views. And a Amazing staff that do whatever they can to make sure you're well served. Don't worry about the negative reviews bit be aware that all golf course in Texas during the °100 and x temperatures are struggling to keep ther putting green in perfect condition! If you're not patient with mother nature and the game stay away from any golf course duringthe summer. I saw many reviews complain about 2 greens. Dude's we are in Texas and everyone are saving water plus is °104 out there. And hello no one can water their grass because the water restrictions in the area! Y'all want everything green at any cost right? Give me a break and take a break from the game during the extreme heat season. And also understand that it take time for a green to recover. The management need to set up more extreme rules for individuals that love to drink and take their time in the fairway and greens drinking and smoking their cigar as the real players are waiting for them. Y'all that go to the golf course to drink and smoke are not real players. Y'all only are there delayed the real players and posting negative reviews about the course. Real players keep up with one another fake player take their time to drink, smoke and mess up the greens. Sadly this type of individuals are everywhere. Anyway don't pay attention to the negative reviews about the green go there and see with your own eyes and remember we are in Texas and the heat is not fake during the summer. But the rest of the year we have the best season in the country. Be happy and visit Avery Ranch Golf course because they're the best in the area."
