"Overcrowded with merchandise, but it's right before Christmas. Couldn't find an employee for help locating an item. I finally asked a cashier, who just gestured broadly to the women's dept and said "Over there somewhere. It's not my dept. " I finally asked the Greeter at the front door and she used her radio to get someone to help me. Be nice if the website would give you an idea what dept. items are in."

"Black Friday sales were amazing!! I went in to buy one thing and ended up with an entire cart filled with stuff. The customer service was astounding as was the checkout service. It was very efficiently organized and although the line was long (hello Black Friday) it went smoothly. I don’t shop very much at Academy but I am certainly going to more often now! Quite the Black Friday haul!!"

"Could not find anyone on the sales floor to help find ad items. Looked for 10 minutes and no one. Looked for the ad items on every aisle and never found it. Plenty of similar items available and prominently displayed but no at very high prices. I bought one and am satisfied, but felt frustrated with my visit."

"Went in today for high hopes and was left incredibly dissapointed. The only good thing from this visit was the nice lady greeting everyone at the door. After that it went down hill, clothing was a mess and hard to maneuver through with a small jogging stroller. The hunting department was incredibly small and a large portion of the shelves were empty. I walked by 4 employees and not one of them acknowledged I was there, other than looking away to avoid saying anything. I did manage to find a pair of shoes that I was excited to get, after I had looked at your price match guarantee. The young man ringing me out refused to do it because it was on sale on the website. I told him the store policy did not state that it could not be on sale, however clearance items did not qualify. He asked another employee who also refused to help me. I left empty handed and dissappinted."

"Second time in two weeks I’m here doing some shopping and the pricing is off (again). This time takes the cake. I told the cashier that the pricing was wrong for an item that I saw on the shelf that she rings up. She asks for a price check (on the radio) from a gentleman that I saw on the next row over stocking the shelves in that area. Cashier tells me I’m wrong after I knew where I pulled the item from. So the supposed, “manager” or lady standing around next to cashier, goes back there comes back and says no the price is what it rang up for. After, I pay the wrong price that it was not. I go to the back where I pulled the item from and sure enough it was moved from where it originally was yet still on a cheaper price tag than what I had paid. As I’m going back to the front the same “manager”, lady that went back there to supposedly check the price is walking towards me and radios the front and says refund him his money knowing I caught her in a lie. These boxes weren’t next to each other when I originally went back there the blue box was on a price tag of 8.99 I had to pay 19.99."
