"Bartender upstairs “proud Irishman” insulted my wife when she asked for Vodka and grapefruit juice “ this is a bar not a fruit stand” or something with Kahlua my daughter drinks Kahlua and shes 14. Proceeded to tell me that America was not a good country as we have no loyalty. Kept at it even after my wife asked him to stop. I asked why he was here? He had no answer. Turned my wifes stomach she left and as i was leaving he tried to apologize to me. I told him to get the f away from me to take my tip and buy a ticket out of here. Not the right bartender for a country bar. Complete nonsensical ahole who could not debate a paper bag. His mouth ruined our night!"

"Came to this bar to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends. They ended up kicking me out because of my blindness. I tried to ride the mechanical bull, completely filled out the waiver and signed it myself before hand, then the manager refused to let me on it. They told me that it was a liability, which I do not agree with but can understand where they are coming from. However, it got extremely upsetting whenever the workers told my friends that they needed to take me out or they would get someone to remove me from the bar for them. The only reason they were saying this Was because my eyes were half closed, I believe they thought that I was very drunk. They had no reason to think this though, because I was standing there completely normally talking with my friends. Even after my friends told them that I was just blind and I was actually not drunk at all, they still proceeded to tell them that I needed to leave. All of this time, the workers refuse to talk to me specifically. Instead they only spoke to my friends about me. Even the manager was condescending and did not want to make the situation right. I told her that this was illegal and that they could not kick me out due to my Disability. She acted like she was going to fix the situation, Then quickly left and began calling people on her phone. I’m not sure exactly what she was doing, but she acted like she was going to help, then walked far away from our group with no explanation. We were afraid that she may be calling the cops so we left. I’ve never experienced this level of discrimination anywhere in Austin. This was so upsetting and I’m incredibly disappointed. I love Austin and love the overall vibes of sixth Street, but this really made me never want to go back. I really hope the management receives more education on disabilities and the legalities associated with them. I would never want to put anyone in this type of situation that my friends and I were in. We felt unsafe and completely mistreated. Wild Greg’s Saloon, I’m begging that y’all make this right."

"Diver went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. He knows what he is doing behind the bar and even helped us when we returned when my daughter lost her purse. He was beyond good at his job. Such a good time because of him."
