"The previous review was as expected. I have tried to place an order with Pepco several times. The first time I was told the order would ship by a certain date. I called to check and was told it would be another few weeks. My customer could not wait that long. This happened 3 consecutive times. I never received the product. I am now giving them a fourth chance because they assured me that my order would ship on the 10th after calling them on the 4th of the month. I called on the 13th and they said that they had to sit on the order since they did not have my account number which I sent/replied to them in an email. They claim they never received the email. Now the order will not be able to ship for another "3-4 days" because they have to make the product. My question to them was, "Don't you think you should have asked for my account number when I placed the first order months ago?" They could not answer. Just curious how long this will take to get the order out. I'm not cancelling this time just to see how long it will take. I will write another review letting you know. If you don't have several months to play around with your order, you need to choose another company. I asked for a supervisor, no luck there."

"We worked with Pepco Poms recently on an order of stadium cups. The product quality was good, but inventory was spotty at best. About a week after our purchase order was placed, we were told that the color matched lids were out of stock. To their credit, they gave us clear lids for free, but it would have been nice to know about it at the onset of the order. Our order was submitted more than 2 weeks prior to our event deadline, but Pepco sat on the order for nearly a week before confirming our order. We failed to follow up, as it was over the Thanksgiving holiday, so we reluctantly accepted the additional 20% rush charge in order to meet our deadline. Upon acceptance of the rush charge, we were notified that our order would be able to ship via ground service and still meet our deadline. The morning after our order was supposed to ship, I followed up to get the tracking info. I was told at that time the order had not shipped, but that it would be sent out and still reach our client's event in 2 days, meeting our deadline expectations. Our client received the cups on time, and were happy with the product. Simultaneously, we received a massive unauthorized freight charge from Pepco. When I called to inquire about the charge, I was told it was necessary to ship our product via UPS 2-day service in order to meet the deadline. The UPS 2-day service was about 400% more expensive than we were expecting. We would have never authorized this shipment, as the freight cost was in excess of the cost of the product itself. I reached out to Pepco to get a credit for the difference between UPS Ground freight and UPS 2 day freight, but we were told that it was our responsibility. We sincerely hope that others haven't experienced similar service issues with Pepco, but I wanted to relay our story so that you are aware of some of the issues this company has with regards to communication, lack of situational awareness and attention to detail, all resulting in a financial loss for our firm.
