"I’m not quite sure what is going on. I LOVED this place when my kids first started there. My youngest was admitted to Children’s over an issue I spoke with Sarah about on the portal and she recommended we go to the ER to be evaluated. I hadn’t spoken to her since she recommended the ER visit but two days later after he was admitted, she called to check in and to make sure he was okay! I thought that was amazing! Not often do you hear of that. Now, it’s becoming such an issue to even get a response from them on the portal app, they don’t respond or return calls when you call the nurses line, my daughter has been without her medication for a month now and they won’t return the pharmacy’s or my calls. We are sent to a voicemail that never gets back to you. When I speak to the receptionist, it’s always “oh, they are working on it” but they’ve been working on it for a month now and nobody is actually figuring out anything. I’m not able to call the insurance myself because they only want to speak to the pediatrician or a pharmacist. Now, I’m relying solely on my child’s pharmacist to continuously call kidz biz to let them know anything the insurance is saying but again— kidz biz won’t return her phone calls and this has been a whole ordeal for a month. Even then pharmacist is blown away at the disregard this pediatric office shows. Very rarely does she encounter an office that flat out refuses to talk to her or return phone calls. Kidz biz seems to not really care wether my daughter has her medication for autism so it is now affecting her in school. She’s being sent home for aggression but they quite frankly cannot be bothered to return any phone calls. Today, I’ve had to call the festus office to get anything done. Even then, the answer I was given was “why don’t you call the insurance and figure it out?” When again, insurance will NOT speak with me because I am not the pediatrician or pharmacist and it has to do with prior authorizations. I’ve sent messages in the portal regarding my other children with no responses. Apparently they sent an email to my child’s teacher in august… without even obtaining her email from me or sending me a message letting me know so I can let her know. I’m not sure who they emailed but it was not my child’s teacher. & again this can’t be sorted out because you do not get replies half of the time utilizing the parent portal. Again, this place is fine for just sick visits, we love Sarah and the doctors in office during visits however it would not be a right fit for you if your child requires more than amoxicillin for strep once a year."

"I had been happy with services provided at kids biz, however, my family was discharged for not paying a $6.80 bill. I explained to the office manager we were moving, but was told i cannot bring my kids to their doctor because we have been discharged. She explained it costs their practice money to send invoices. I offered to pay this amount but was again told we could not be seen after we have been discharged from the practice. I cannot believe $6.80 will prevent my children from seeing their doctor of 7 years."

"Can't even prioritize a child with mental health issues for a timely appointment. Makes a kid wait four months after being told the child has suicidal ideation. Nope. Do NOT take your kids to this doctor's office. They don't care about kids or saving lives!"
