"Used to be one of my favorite golf courses, but I could only play occasionally because of the price. In the past month, the course conditions and usual high level of attention to detail have gone seriously downhill. Don't know if it's a new Golf Maintenance crew or what, but I won't be back for a while."

"Very nice facility. Very challenging and makes you select your shot. Some fairways are pretty tight. Friendly work staff. Will be back."

"I booked for a group of 4 online, have the confirmation email showing four people. I get to the course and they say you booked for 3 people and have a single named "cart" paired with you. I tell them I surely booked for four but there's nothing they can do. So I send the rest of my group and I decide to sit out. 10 minutes later they say the single never checked in and that I can join my group after running to the pro shop to pay for myself. I get out there and all the fairways are not maintained at all. Dead grass everywhere, bald patches etc. (I played the creek and oak course, I'm willing to bet the lakes course is in rough shape too. I would not recommend this course to even to a beginner golfer. For the price you pay in this area it is disappointing to say the least. From the Pro shop to the course itself. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the greens were decent. Get it together Hill CC, fix the grass and your booking system."

"First time playing here and it quickly became one of my favorites! The weather was cloudy and cool which made it pleasant. GPS carts, bottled water, and TWENTY-SEVEN hole course which are the Oaks, Creeks, and Lakes! Fun time on the course and then lunch at the clubhouse with validated parking pass!"

"When I first arrive in a new city, I love to go play golf and ask where others like to play. I have been in San Antonio now for a few months and one name that kept coming up was the Hyatt Resort Course - Well as my dumb luck would have it that is the Hill Country Golf Club on Golf Now! Here's my Review: 1. 27 hole opportunity 2. Course layouts different between each 9 hole layout. I played the Oaks and Lake and one was very tight and required targeted shots with very undulating greens; while they other was very much a "resort style" course - with wide fairways and forgiving approaches. Greens still had "character" though too. 3. Warm Up Area looked nice and fully complete with bunker area too - I didn't use it because I got to tee off as soon as I got there because the course was generally empty. 4. Pace of Play - Amazing - 2.25 hours for 18 holes and we were off cart-path. 5. Carts - GPS with Rain Covers and BRAND NEW. Plus you get 2 waters per cart to boot! 6. Club House and Staff: nicely stocked, reasonable prices and staff were very friendly and helpful. Bottom Line - I would love to come back and play here again in less windy conditions, but I am in TX afterall."
