"It was amazing. We have driven by and never thought to stop. So glad we finally did! The fish fry (fried and baked cod) was fantastic. Fries, baked, homemade chips, and potato pancakes were all so good. Family style applesauce and coleslaw. The final finishing touch was the cornbread. It was so soft and tender. Perfect! We will be back. Highly recommended!!!"
"The place was nice and so was the people. I didn’t care much for their food. Too much salt and seasoning that shouldn’t have had it on. The breading on the fish fry was too thick. My white claw was warm. My husband ordered the cheeseburger that he only ate half of it and took it home. Hopping the kids would eat it, they did not. The cheeseburger was so small that there were too much bun and not enough meat. The people was nice."
"First time here,you only get one chance to make a first impression and these guys did it! Friendly staff and patrons. I've been in food service 45+ years,and this was the first time since moving back to the area, that the chef took time out from the kitchen to visit our table to see everything was OK, you dont get that kind of attention anymore!!! There menu is limited to sandwiches and an awesome fish fry. Drinks were a good pour and inexpensive. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I've been to over 30 supper clubs and restaurants in last 4 yrs in Rock and Walworth Co.'s and the Wagon Wheel is at the top of my list. Can't wait til they expand their menu. Great job Kevin and staff,see you again in near future!"
"We went on a Friday afternoon/evening for fish fry. We got butterfly shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. My fries were seasoned wonderfully as was the buttery delight of the potato pancakes. Broccoli was fresh and crisp. The lemonade was refreshing. There are a few 1 arm bandits in the building.. It is a handi-capped accessible building that is over 180 years old."
"Great to see this place open again. We use to dine here 12-15 years ago. Such a nice spot and a wonderful outdoor patio. Friendly staff and reasonable drinks. Will be serving food in the near future. We will definitely be back."
