"We were initially really excited to switch to Bison insurance because Brett was very friendly and responsive. However, after we switched we found it difficult to get a timely response to our concerns--and there were several. It took over 2 months from the time we asked for a quote to the time our auto policy was enacted--in fairness, the home policy went more smoothly. We were enrolled in a different auto policy (with a different company and much lower coverage limits) than we initially discussed and agreed to on the phone. When we received the bill, we realized that the premium was much higher than we had been quoted, and in fact, was higher than our previous policy with another insurer. When I contacted Brett he was very apologetic, but was ultimately unable to explain why the premium was higher or find a solution. After 2 months (with me making follow up inquiries every other week), he was still unable to find a solution or explain the discrepancy. When I pointed out that the coverage limits were wrong and barely met state minimums, he said he would change them but never actually did. Ultimately, we decided we needed an agency with more reliable service and faster follow-through."
