"Charming peaceful lovely home base for rent near San Antonio TX"
"Such a cute place to rest your weary head. The cottage was just spacious enough for myself and my kinda big husband. We weren't on top of each other but the bed was large enough for some cuddles. The front and back porch are awesome to listen to nature sounds and see the occasional deer. There are horses on the property and I loved when they came up to greet us. The bathroom is Omg amazing, though you do have to walk outside and around the corner to access the facilities (barefoot runs in the middle of the night did happen). I highly recommend staying here."
"Whether it was playing catch in the backyard, enjoying a hot dog cooked over the fire pit or BBQing a steak on the deck the big cottage was perfect. We enjoyed a wonderful 6 week stay and hosted friends and family with lots of room to spare. Minutes to all amenities the cottage still suceeded in cutting out a secluded piece of hill country. We especially enjoyed the fully fenced back yard, perfect for our active dog. The kindness and consideration of our hosts was the luster on a bright and spacious vacation at this Helotes cottage gem. Thanks so much and see you next year - we have already booked for 2020."
