Bird’s Eye Insurance

"I wish I could recommend them, but I can't. My mom has gone through BirdsEye Insurance for many years now and when it was time to renew her insurance, she bundled her homeowners and car together via a phone call. Somehow, only her car was paid (even though it was *supposed to be* bundled and on autodraft), which led to a lapse in her homeowners coverage. I have called multiple times to try to get to the bottom of what happened (after my emails went unanswered because her agent no longer worked there with zero notice about that) and have been met with very unkind phone conversations where they get frustrated with me and place the blame solely on my mom with no real reason as to why they think she is at fault. The girl that was her insurance broker (Jennifer) no longer works for them and made no note of even speaking to myself or my husband, which she did numerous times. Even the brokers I spoke to sound frustrated with how Jennifer handled things, but equally frustrated with me for questioning their ex-employee. When I was questioning what happened on their end, one lady told me she "couldn't get inside of Jennifer's head to find out what she was thinking, so [we] need to move on." Only, we can't move on because now no one wants to cover her solely because of the lapse in coverage. The communication was poor from the get-go and Jennifer was extremely hard to get in touch with. SHE messed up and now my mom is paying for it. It's very disappointing and frustrating."
