"Perfect couples getaway The online photos don’t do this quiet little cabin retreat justice. Karen and John are the sweetest, most gracious hosts, they made us feel at home the second we arrived to check in. We stayed in the cliff house and it was perfect for us to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary. The cabin was immaculate when we walked in. With a quaint country feel, perfectly secluded. The hot tub on the oversized porch, overlooking the river was clean and very well maintained. There is paint provided to paint a rock and add it to the collection on the porch. It was a fun unexpected activity. We enjoyed reading all the rocks and all of the anniversaries, we even saw one that said 55 years. Our grill had been left on by the previous guest so the propane was low and John quickly changed it out for us. The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly strong for being a cabin. The bed was firm but in a very comfortable way. The linens were clean and fresh. The muffins and orange juice left in the fridge for breakfast were sweet touch. I could not recommend this place more.
