"A Prince among Men and a King among Auto Mechanics! My sister and I were headed back home to Chicago from Forgottonia (Western Ill near Macomb) when sudden car trouble happened near the Morris exit. Luckly we were able to get off I-80 and onto exit ramp where the car died completely. Even luckier was the aid of a good Samaritan, a local woman named Mel, who stopped to help. She knew of Andy's and phoned. He came asap and towed us to his shop. Andy was pretty sure it was the alternator and was able to order parts just before deadline to ship for next morning delivery. We would need to stay overnight and found a motel with a restaurant next door. Andy was even kind enough to drives us to the motel and took a route through downtown that was celebrating their 73rd Corn Festival and pointed out all the attractions and events. Next morning Andy called and said our car was ready (11am) and he came and picked us up at our motel Wow!, service above and beyond. This man is a master mechanic, a gentleman and probably a scholar too. We will always be most thankful for his timely action at servicing our car so quickly and efficiently and the additional kindness shown to a couple of senior ladies from out of town. We were able to grab a fantastic BBQ Pork sandwich at the festival and get back on the road to home. We will never be able to drive by the Morris exit without thinking of the great people we met in town. We will plan to visit there more in the future for we drive down home to check in on Mom about once a month or so. Andy, Mel, and the folks we met at the BBQ were all great and very hospitable. You have helped restore our faith in humanity as so much of it has been turning bleak lately. Thank you all."

"Today Andy came to our rescue! My daughter’s truck broke a ball joint on I-80 just before 2pm. Our insurance company had a hard time finding a tow company, or so they say, after keeping my daughter on the phone for an hour and 40 min. He agreed to a tow through our insurance company. THANK YOU ANDY! Andy showed up in 30 min from us hanging up the phone from the insurance company, and save her just before rush hour traffic. She took my car and Andy gave me a ride home with her truck. We had great life conversations. It was so great to know there are still amazing and kind people in this world!"
