"Great service by an honest and knowledgeable mechanic. Took time to explain the repairs that were needed. The pricing was fair, he fixed what needed fixed and didn’t try to upsell anything. I highly recommend Scott’s Auto Repair for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy automotive service."

"I heard about Scott's Auto Repair from my boss, who highly recommended him, and I could not agree more! I have a pretty healthy distrust for many mechanics because my lack of knowledge about cars has been taken advantage of previously. Scott was honest with me about pricing and the work on my car, and was so personable. He even helped me with an oil change on top of the alternator and battery repair. I will be bringing my car back to him in the future, and you should too!"

"I took my car to Scott's Mechanic on Friday, June 3rd 2022. Smoke was coming from the front hood near coolant area. Scott diagnosed the issue & said I just needed a new radiator cap and replaced. Prior to me driving away, the car started smoking again in the same place and it was leaking now towards the front near the radiator. Scott informed me a radiator needed to be replaced. At 5:50pm he replaced my radiator and re-installed the fan he had to remove to do so. When he started the car, smoking was still occurring in the same area & he said he couldn't diagnose further until next week. I could drive but be sure to turn off engine at stop lights so it wouldn't overheat and that he thought it was the "coolant fan relay." The next week, he said the radiator fan needed to be replaced and charged me for the part, but would complete labor for free. He said because he'd do labor for free it wasn't a priority. He replaced the fan on 6/7 after he accidentally ordered wrong part. He also replaced the coolant recovery tank. He said the coolant leak damaged a coil and to come back the next day on 6/8 and he replaced a coil & spark plug. $735.00 of charges later, my car had smoke coming out the rear end. I took it to the closest mechanic. "Vehicle Needs New Engine." They completed a compression test. I tried calling Scott that Thursday and left a voicemail that the car broke down and had been smoking out the rear. He doesn't carry a cell phone and doesn't include an email address on his business card. I tried calling him over the next weekend and the following Monday and his voicemail was full. I had traveled from a different state and was trying to start a new life and couldn't succeed without a vehicle. I was forced to get on a plane and donate the vehicle as I didn't have the title in my possession, the state of MS said they mailed and I never received it and couldn't afford to not work and wait a couple weeks to do obtain another. I invested over $5000.00 for it three months ago. He never even called to apologize. I think he mis-diagnosed the car, postponed repairs and feel he may have broke the fan when he replaced the radiator which could have overheated the engine. I also feel he should have known the smoking from the coolant tank could be damaging the coils and corrected. I feel if I would have listened to another local shop, my car would not have been a loss."

"I was referred to Scott's after purchasing a pre-owned vehicle (from Jim Butler Outlet). After purchasing my vehicle I began to hear my front wheel squeaking really bad. To make a really, really long story short, after being lied to by Jim Butler twice that my rotors and brakes were replaced and of good quality, I took my car to Scott for him to look at it. He not only drove my car with me in it to hear exactly what I was hearing, he also showed me the brake pads and what was wrong with them!!! He put new brakes on my car and boom....no squeaking! I have found my new auto repair shop. Thanks Scott!"
