"Festus “family” dentistry turned me away because I had my 4 year old daughter with me. She is very quiet and well behaved and brought a book to look at, but they said she would have to sit in the waiting room by herself for my entire appt. I have to wonder, what would they do if someone tried to take her with them? I am in pain from a tooth ache, this appt was already rescheduled due to inclement weather the previous day, so our plans were changed. If the policy is this strict about absolutely no children able to come into exam room it should be disclosed when making the appt. Because of the word “family” in the name, I assumed they see children as patients so it would be fine as long as the child is well behaved. Very upset and disappointed. Making the review in the hopes other parents know ahead of time."
