"Naansense just opened their Naperville location and it’s worth checking out for their thoughtful menu concept, fresh and flavorful dishes, and a quality affordable meal! At this new location, you can still order their specialty naan wraps and curry bowls, but I recommend trying the variety platter (also known as thaali). The smaller thaali option, which is meant to serve 2-3 people, was PLENTY of food for me and my parents, and we still had leftovers to take home! Naansense also participates in One Feeds Two program, so every time you eat a meal there, they fund a school meal for a child in India! We ordered the Vegetarian Variety Tray which came with everything mentioned below, except samosas, mango lassi, and gulab jamun (ordered separately): - Hara Bhara Kebabs - soft, fresh, and tasty with the dipping sauces (thaali comes with the sauces and you can get more from the sauce bar) - Masala Fries - perfectly crispy and seasoned, masala flavor wasn’t overpowering - Curry Slaw - great to have something raw and fresh on the side, I would’ve preferred a bit more seasoning or lime juice on it - Paneer Vindaloo - the vindaloo sauce itself is delicious and has a slight spicy kick to it, comes with 2 large paneer squares which is plenty to go around when cut into smaller pieces! Definitely recommend trying this one - Plain Rice - to go with the curry - Kachumber - a classic cucumber and tomato salad for freshness in the meal, I would just add more lime (which comes with the platter as well) - Naan - made with their own recipe and fresh on site (you can see behind the counter), super soft and buttery! I even ordered more to take home! - Chutneys and pickled onion - green chutney, spicy red chutney, curry mayo, garlic yogurt, and sweet and tangy chutney - Hot Peppers - whole peppers (I think they were serrano?) cooked then coated with masala, be careful it is actually spicy! - Samosas - warm and soft, good quantity of potato filling, medium size - Mango Lassi - thick and great quantity, definitely shareable, not too sweet - Gulab Jamun - has the right amount of cardamom flavor and it’s not too sweet"

"Good for a new place, but food can be better. The fusion indian food is a great idea, but pre made gravies and putting the meat inside doesn’t taste that great. The stuffed paratha’s taste great and are worth the money. They can improve the kiosk and replace it with the fountain in the front. It becomes a little difficult to order and then come beat the line to find a seat. The seating is plenty and the ambience is good as well. Great clean restrooms and very courteous staff. Would definitely visit again.."

"When I saw the signboard of this restaurant the name itself evoked laughter and I was really looking forward to try their contemporary menu. This place is fairly new and the wait times are a little longer compared to other quick serve restaurants. We tried the Chicken Vindaloo Curry, Chicken Tikka Curry, Chicken Kebab, Channa Masala, Veg Bowl and Masala Fries. All curries are very well made and full of flavor. Naan bread is good but definitely not the best. Masala fries are crispy, tasty and kids will love these fries. I wish they served some masala ketchup with the fries. When you add the green and tamarind chutneys with onions to Channa Masala it is excellent, a must try. Mango Lassi is very tasty and doesn’t have the sour taste we typically experience at other Indian restaurants. Lastly the Mule Cocktail will calm you down with its fresh and refreshing taste."

"This was a great restaurant for modernized Indian food! Very clean and inviting, great ambience, plenty of parking outside. Kiosk for faster ordering. We ordered takeout and took 10 min or less to get the order to us, food was packaged properly and traveled pretty well. Good use of recyclable containers if that is important to you. The dine-in food also looked really good! Great flavor and decent quantity, slightly on the higher price point if you get the thali, but worth having since you can try out so many different items at once, has other options including bowls and wraps as well! Must try!"
