Kroger Pharmacy

"1) 90% of the time they are out of stock. 2) Half the time, they don't have a prescription for the meds that I've gotten 50+ times from them "Are not in the system". 3) I've tried more than a dozen locations, many are worse. The reason I chose this location is they know how to use a credit card machine. Frankford and Midway has employees who don't even know how to USE their cc machines. 4) I never know how many I'm going to get. My prescription is 90 days, 2 refills. Sometimes I'll get 30, sometimes 90, and sometimes 270. I never know, and it's ALWAYS something every time I order. This includes price. Last time I used $30 for 30. Sometimes I'll pay 11 for 90, sometimes $13 for 270. It's never the same. Without the meds I go to the hospital. Never knows if it's in stock = maybe I'll go to the hospital, maybe not."

"Hi everyone! My name is Wali Abdul and I am the Pharmacy Manager of this location for the past 5 months. If anyone has a concern about our service, please contact me at the pharmacy. I will make sure that you leave our store with a five star experience. I spoke to my staff about all the negative feedback that we have recieved on google. We have let go of a few of our technicians that have not been up to par with customer service and we recently installed a Parata robot to assist us with counting medications. Many of our customers have noticed that we are much more efficient with getting medications ready in a timely manner. Our wait times have dropped dramatically and I have made it clear to the staff that the customers always come 1st. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I hope that some of the people on these reviews would give us a second chance and if you have been wronged in any way, I want to hear about it so that I can make it right to you. "If you work at Kroger then know that you will encounter different ethnicities and that you have to a diverse person in order to service everyone with respect. Today I was disrespected…. The older YT gentleman that was assisting with the self check out maybe needs a lesson on diversity. My 12 pack sodas did not ring up the sale price.. I asked him for assistance and he told me that brandade they weren’t the same that it didn’t apply. I kindly said all 3 packs had the exact same sign. He says if this wasn’t the case the sales price worked have worked then proceeded to stand there as if I was going to steal the sodas. I said thank you so he could walk away. I paid and walked directly to the customer service desk where DONNA a black lady checked the sales ad and refined me the difference… to add to insult… another customer hi just so happens to be YT all the check out gentlemen a question. You would have thought it was a different person on how attentive he was to her and how he greeted her and walked with her to solve her issue. I did call and speak to a manager about this experience. But I say this to say. Make sure people are right in their hearts beside putting them in front of people…….. Very distasteful to say the least!!!"

"Called the pharmacy about a prescription that I needed for some intense pain I was experiencing. The lady that picked up was super rude, kept interrupting me when I was trying to tell her the info and also went on a tangent about how busy they are (when in reality, if she just stopped talking, I could have provided that info). Looking at my call log, the entire conversation took less than 3 minutes. I get that everybody has rough days, but if I spoke to people the way this lady speaks to patients I would get fired from my job. I ended up calling back later, spoke with another pharmacist named Jamie who actually spoke like a human and was helpful. Based on my conversation with her this place would have a 4-5 star rating. P.s. went to this pharmacy a few months ago for covid-19 vaccine and they didn't monitor patients after administering like they were supposed to"

"The staff at this location is awesome. I had many questions on my new insurance for the pharmacist regarding deductibles and co-payments. She took time to explain everything and did not rush me. All of the staff are very cordial and respectful. Thanks for hiring excellent employees. Keep up the good work."
