CVS Pharmacy

"So I was there earlier in the day to pick up a prescription (never in my life have I been prescribed anything so I have zero clue how this works) I was told my insurance didn’t cover my medication and it would cost me a pretty penny unless I got a coupon. Coupon that according to the pharmacist named Shadi, my doctor needed to give me. Didn’t say much after that, very dismissive with her tone and open mouth gum chewing. So I leave and I google about medication coupons. Turns out your doctor doesn’t need to give you this, you can go to a website like goodRX and get one. I’m almost positive as a pharmacist you know this info, but she decided to turn me away and go figure this out on my own. Luckily my medication isn’t life altering or anything of the sort, but I could imagine someone who really needs their meds to live, running into a pharmacist like Shadi, that didn’t provide any type of help, how they would feel. You’re in the business of helping ppl, a little more charisma would go very far. Will definitely not get my prescription filled here again. Guess it’s a win win for both. lol."

"Absolutely nothing could be done to improve my experience. The pharmacist and pharmacy techs went above and beyond to help me and my two young daughters right before closing and were friendly and understanding. \n\nI must assume that my prescription instructions were written on paper made from Fairie dust and Unicorn tears because the entire experience was magical. Faith in humanity restored. Give these cool, professional, compassionate, and HIGHLY competent employees a raise because they are Rockstars in my book."

"I was denied Covid vaccine services here because they don’t take my insurance. I have had all 4 covid vaccine series since 2021 at other CVs locations regardless of my insurance status. Most people get free covid vaccines nowadays. I asked how uninsured people get vaccines and and they said they “ over write it “."

"This week I went to CVS on El Dorado Pkwy to receive COVID, RSV and Flu vaccines. The pharmacy staff were extremely helpful with helping me navigate all the Medicare hurdles to get my vaccinations completed. They were pleasant and professional beyond expectations and I left the store so impressed with the quality of service. Best CVS store I’ve ever been to!"

"This CVS pharmacy is clean and have courteous staff. It has consultation room and vaccination area. Pharmacy opens at 9AM. It has ample parking and drive through. The store is well lit and lot of goods in stock."
