"Reading reviews and decided to add my 2 cents worth. I see comments where Dr Kahn is no longer there which is a good thing as he's useless and has no clue. I was a patient there about 4 years ago and the fact that I had 1-2 drinks a YEAR automatically labeled me "high risk" for drug abuse so that they could charge me for drug testing every time I went in. He had zero compassion and couldn't even recognize what was going on by my symptoms. At what became my last visit ever with them he told me that I needed to quit my job and find a new one and also figure out why I was so unhappy. He also told me that I needed to contact my PCP (who also turned out to be useless)and get a prescription for anti-anxiety and antidepressants. Turns out I have Stage IV cancer and that's what was causing all the pain. All the symptoms were there but he, just like my PCP, chose to write me off as a woman who was unhappy about getting older and that my pain was all in my head."

"Yes Dr Kahn is great, but he's in San Marcos practicing now. Anybody have good words to say on who is still there? I definitely do not, when Estler & Khan & some nurse practitioners left, the place is a joke. Don't go here"
"I've been going to Balcones Pain Clinic monthly for several years. Dr. Khan, the nurses, and their administrative staff have always been kind and attentive to my needs and concerns. Dr. Khan also provides nerve abrasions and cortisone shots that have significantly improved my quality of life. I appreciate that they have a small office locally and are easy to access any time I need them."
