"I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. The service was good. We came for lunch at 1:00 and I felt like we were served leftovers. The hot food was not hot. The chicken was overcooked. The sushi was mediocre. The soup was barely warm. The ginger salad dressing had a taste that I didn’t enjoy. It was a bummer."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our sushi dinner. Thai iced tea and crab rangoons to start, then we shared 7 rolls with leftovers: California, Philly, sweet potato, and tempura broccoli rolls, Red Ginger roll, Peanut Special roll, and Snow White roll. Would absolutely stop again if the sushi craving hits on our many trips through Iowa!"
"Ordered 5 rolls and edamame for dinner carry out. The spicy maki combo was HORRIBLE. Thought we might get sick so we threw it out. See photo below. Tasted days old. The edamame was unsalted. The wasabi was a tube paste without spice. We eat sushi often and were recommended to try Red Ginger. Overall, VERY DISAPPOINTED."
"Excellent food from sushi to salmon teriyaki! The picture is of the dessert roll. I cannot remember what it’s called but it is so good and I’m not a big dessert fan when going out to eat, but this is a must try if you go!"
"Our regular sushi place was closed so we tried Red Ginger. It was nice, had a new server who recommended her fav roll, I think it was the Tuck Tuck, fried calamari was the center of it and it was excellent. Not wowed by anything else, but respectable sushi and our soups hit the spot.Miso and I had the onion. Very good customer service and nice atmosphere."
