"Great appetizers. Ordered two different kinds of paneer dishes and they made the same thing twice. Both tasteless and bad, we didn’t eat."

"We don’t live in Iowa City anymore but we’re feeling Indian food when we were in the area. Tried the butter chicken, tofu tikka, and garlic naan. Butter chicken was super dry and barely had any curry. Tikka was soooooo bland and the rice served with the food was dry and clumpy. Overall good prices in comparison, but not great."

"DON’T USE UBER EATS TO ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. The Uber Eats app only allows you to choose one topping on their gyro so I ended up with a pita, a bunch of lamb (yay) and a little tatziki sauce. Of course Uber makes it impossible to report this to their support. Do they even have support?? My gyro, although a bit baron, was tasty and garlic naan was good too. The fries were limp with no salt but I didn’t even realize I was getting fries so no loss there. I will get food from them again but not thru a delivery service."

"Very good, one of the best Indian food options in Iowa City. Variety, too. The gyros are excellent. Samosas are some of the best in the area."

"I LOVE Indian food. It is probably my favorite cuisine, and I would happily eat it every week for the rest of my life. Bollywood Grill opened early summer of 2020, and for the first 6 months, I got take-out almost every week. Now I'm going less often to save money, but if I could, I would get the food all the time. It’s that amazing. The dishes Zameer Khan creates are mouth-watering and incredible. Between my housemates and I, we've eaten through almost the entire menu. I try to eat less meat in general, so my go-to dishes are the Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta, and Matar Paneer. Though recently, the menu has changed so you can get paneer with most dishes! My meat-eating housemates enjoy the Jalfrezi, Vindaloo, Dopyaza, and Biryani. The naan is out of this world - made from scratch and to-order. The Pakoras are divine, and it’s impossible to put down the Gobi Manchuria. Everything is delicious! Each main dish comes with a box of spice-infused, golden-orange basmati rice, which means there are leftovers for days (a perfect pick-me-up, leftover lunch during the work week). Zameer is one of the kindest people. If he's not too busy making food, we always end up chatting. Opening a restaurant during “normal” times is hard enough, but the fact that he and his wife opened Bollywood Grill in the midst of a pandemic is truly remarkable. If you love Indian food or want to try something new, I HIGHLY recommend Bollywood Grill. The pictures are plated by my housemates and I, from multiple times we’ve ordered take-out. All this to say, go to Bollywood Grill! The only thing to be aware of is that you might become as addicted as me."
