"Pumpkin's Place is in the heart of Maywood. The atmosphere is what is expected of a carry-out neighborhood "joint". However, the food is great! The Turkey Tips, Rib Tips and chicken wings are so quite delicious. The meat is seasoned well, then the amazing BBQ sauce makes this one of the best places for BBQ. I've never tried the sides because they don't look appetizing, but I did have the cobbler once. Surprisingly it was good. I say that because restaurant cobbler is usually unremarkable. The only downside is that it closes at 5 p.m. and the tips are usually sold out early. The great thing is it's open on Sundays so I can get my meats right after church."
"Been here a couple times and only had the Turkey tips which are pretty good and meaty but I tried the greens and they are horrible, gritty and over seasoned. Never tried any other sides and I’m afraid to."
