"Very good ham and cheese sandwich...piled high with ham. My partner got the suicide sub and he said it was amazing. The fries are the battered kind, which, let's be honest, are the best kind. The server was friendly, service was fast, and the place was clean."
"Just ate at Jake's for the first time today 2/24. Only live 45 minutes from this place and never heard of it. So glad I Googled it. The food the service and the atmosphere are ALL top of the line. Wish I would have got our waitress/barmaid's name. I asked for a suggestion and she nailed it! Suicide sub. Delicious. Will definitely be back. Thanks Jake's Pourhouse"
"would recommend to anyone for a bite to eat! Dad and I stopped for a late dinner on our way to Oklahoma and had some amazing burgers (GIANT hand-made patty’s!!!) with perfectly fried onion rings and heaping portion of garlic-parm fries. Collette was on top of it when our jalapeños were missed on the burger, with a refill on our drinks before we had to ask, not to mention she is incredibly friendly with suggestions for things in the area if we ever find our way back to LaSalle. Refreshing to have back great service and tasty food these days, not to mention good prices!"

"This is a very lively place to stop and eat. There are always plenty of cars and people here. The menu is really good, especially if you like burgers and sandwiches. I got a cheesy sub with three different meats, green peppers, and fried onions, all on top of a bed of garlic parmesan fries. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant and bar if you're in the area. It's located in a heavily residential neighborhood. There is outdoor seating also available that would be really convenient for people with mobility issues or disabilities."
