"Great place for coffee, breakfast, or lunch. Lots of good quick menu choices; classic items plus some fun ones (like PB&J plus bacon panini). Nice space inside or out and a good place when shopping along all the fun stores in Maplewood."

"Plenty of seating and tables. Lots of natural light. Friendly staff. The desserts are yummy. Coffee is bitter but not so bitter that a dose of sugar can’t fix it. Food seems overpriced though. $8 to $10 for savory items, even the avocado toast. So best to stick to coffee and dessert pastry if you are on a budget."

"Stopped in for the first time since it had been known as Foundation Grounds, on my way dropping my car off for service. Had a nice little chat with the owner as I was looking at the new menu and deciding what to get. She told me that even though it was early, she had everything set up so I could feel free to get something from the brunch menu. They've got a waffle made with cornbread and I tried it at her recommendation--very good! It does have jalapeno in the mix, but I wouldn't have known had she not informed me. No spice, just added a little bit of sweetness. Delicious!"

"We stopped by this place for our quick Morning coffee and breakfast. It was Sunday morning, and the place was fully packed. We got a table and the coffee was served on the table l. The coffee was very basic and nothing fancy. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. I requested the bagel to be toasted, however on arrival I discovered that it was not toasted. Anyways, the place was packed, and maybe they were on running on a shortage of staff. Even we found the service to be slow. My partner ordered some vegan burrito with butternut squash and spinach. It was also very basic and underwhelming."
