"Passero is a spot where making reservations, whether for a weekend or weekday dinner, is a smart move. The ambiance inside is stunning, beautifully decorated, and inviting. Now, onto the dishes—the Brussels sprouts without bacon unfortunately missed the mark; they weren't cooked thoroughly and had an overload of honey. However, on a brighter note, the fries were a winner! I mean, who can go wrong with delicious fries, right? The fusilli was the real star here—a truly delicious pasta dish! Pro tip: ask for extra Parmesan to elevate the flavors—it's a yummy feast! Overall, Passero offers a beautiful setting and some tasty highlights, like the fantastic fries and mouthwatering fusilli. Just a heads-up, though: the Brussels sprouts might need a bit of improvement. But all in all, a pleasant dining experience is worth a reservation."

"Lovely, local Italian dining with a vibrant, cozy decor. Delicious homemade pastas. Good variety of menu items. Attentive service. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Love the brussel sprouts. On occasion we find a dish slightly saltier than our preference but the depth and complexity of flavors are excellent."

"Simply incredible! The best food I have had in the Chicagoland area! The servers were hospitable and very charismatic. The food presentation was top-notch. And the atmosphere was amazing! I highly recommend making Passero one of your dining destinations."

"My overall grade for Passero is: A- I came here for lunch. I will return for dinner. Ordered fried calamari- delicious & perfectly cooked. Nice sauce that comes with. I almost never order cheeseburgers, but my friend Jay insisted that their burgers are great. So, I ordered one with bacon. I gotta say, really, really good cheeseburger. This facility used to be a California Pizza Kitchen, and they kept the pizza oven. I will also return to try the pizza. Beer selection was probably good for beer lovers. Mine was good. All-in-all, good selection for lunch. Parking is not readily available very close by. There is an underground lot about 100 yards away."

"We came here on Monday for dinner and I was surprised by how bustling the place was. Despite having a reservation, we still waited for 20 minutes for our table. The food was quite delightful. We ordered Brussels Sprouts, carbonara, and a pizza. Each dish had an interesting blend of flavors that tasted good. The outdoor patio offers a lovely view overlooking the downtown train station."
