"Ordering through this restaurant is an introvert's dream. You mainly order through a kiosk and I was able to customize my order to my liking. Looking back, I wish I had added more curry to my dish. I got the chicken katsu curry w/ extra rice, 10 gyoza on the side to share and a water bottle. Food was fantastic and I actually took home leftovers, (which were fantastic leftovers btw). I spent about 30 bucks on my food, however you're near Chicago, so what do you expect? Others complained about wait time, however I came with a group of people, so it worked out as I was able to locate a table while I waited for my food. The kiosk also asked for my phone number so to text me with my order number and to tell me when it was ready."

"I got the popular spicy pork on rice BUT the pork tastes gamey and a little too salty. There's after taste. So I'm not a fan. I know it's not the restaurant but the actual meat. So sad and unfortunate."

"Sutadonya is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants; when we lived in Ikebukuro, we got takeout from there a couple times a month. The prices are higher than what I'm used to but are fair for the US market. The karaage bowl is deceptively filling, because even though there's only three, each piece is huge. It's probably equivalent to the 8-9 piece bowl I always get in Japan, and it's still got the perfect texture -- crispy outside, juicy inside. The only thing I'm missing is the sauce. I don't know if Americans are just weak or they don't want the recipe crossing an ocean, but I desperately want their house soy garlic sauce because whatever they're using here doesn't give me the kick in the tongue that I'm craving. (I would also buy bottles of that stuff, nudge nudge, wink wink.)"

"I haven't consumed rice in days, and I'm beginning to feel weak and fatigued. I need rice in my system or my body will go nuts because I'm Asian, this is a curse. I've discovered a location that can satisfy my craving. Some of the items they provide include rice, which is a plus. I immediately placed my order via kiosk since this is a counter service restaurant. I swiftly found a seat after submitting my order; now I'm just waiting patiently. It may seem like an eternity, yet my sacrifice will be rewarded. I was irritated to find out my meal was done without knowing when it would be ready because the staff didn't bother to contact me or yell my order number thankfully I was paying attention else I'd be starving to death. My mood altered once I had the food and returned to the table. The food was served in a to-go plastic container with a lid, which I thought was a good idea in case folks couldn't finish their meal. It's a basic rice dish with nothing special to say. It simply served fried chicken over rice. The chicken was still hot, and the outside was quite crispy with a satisfying crunch. I personally think they overdid the sauce because the rice had been drenched in it. The sauce is tasty, but there is far too much vinegar flavor. I'm pleased with my decision, and the rice dish served its function; now I can resume my life as usual. Thank you for the meal"

"If you don't mind waiting upwards of 15-20 minutes for your food, it's definitely a place worth visiting! The food is so flavorful and fresh, and the prices seem fair. Only con is the wait time, and lack of seating, but that's not really the fault of the restaurant since it's in a food court. Will definitely go again! We had the garlic pork, garlic pork and curry, gyoza, and fried rice."
