"I was visiting the area for work, the Corner Stone Tavern had great reviews so decided to check it out. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. It seemed like a local tavern. Gigi the bartender was great to chat with she made a good old fashioned and suggested the pot roast dinner. She was not wrong! It was so good! The portion was a good size. I would definitely go back!"
"Downtown Lemont has always been a fave of mine. Corner Stone has delicious espresso Martinis in all kinds of flavors. I had the caramel and it was delish. I wish the glasses were bigger though. Lol. Service was great. Food did not disappoint. A very cozy atmosphere."
"I'd put this in a category as a gastropub. Good food, typical drinks. A lot of TVs almost has an upscale sports bar feel. Went there for a work dinner outing on a Sunday during the bears game. Parking is limited in the area. Kind of a downfall"
"First time going to Corner Stone Tavern. It will not be my last time. I am a bourbon type of guy. I was that they had Maple bourbon Shake. That's right, a shake. I ordered one. I am very glad I did. It was on mark!!! They nailed it!! Hit out of the park!! I guess you would like it. Had there mac and cheese where you can add different items they offer. I went with their homemade chill. That was also very good. I ended my night with their Grinch margarita. Another good drink. If you are near the Lamont area, Corner Stone Tavern is a place that you need to go to."
"I can’t say enough positive things about Cornerstone! I’ve been a few times and each time was a great experience! Most recently, it was 8 of us. Our waiter Nate was very nice, polite, patient, and attentive. There was never an empty plate/glass on the table. He held great conversation with us as well! The food is AMAZING! I always get the beer battered fish tacos but this time I also tried the ribs. Omg the ribs were FALLING OFF THE BONE as soon as you put the fork in them. The sauce was just enough and very flavorful. I tried a couple of their holiday drinks. They were very good. The snowball fight is my favorite! They also are in a prime location to Candy Cane Lane. I will always support Cornerstone."
