Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

"I’ve been here two times and it was a cool experience! The sushi is delicious but it can get very busy on evenings and weekends that it’ll be hard to get a seat. Sadly it does not take reservations. On the second time I went, I had a much better experience than the first time I was there because I came on a Tuesday around 2 PM. Staff were very nice and they really liked my Yor and Loid plushies when I came during the Spy x Family event."

"The belt is always empty. Every plate is 3.40. But consider the amount of food you get, it's way more expensive than the traditional sushi places. The fish slice can't get any thinner than you can see thru it."

"Not that good. Food itself was pretty basic, what you’d expect for a normal store. However, the service was terrible. Not a staff member, but the lack of one. We ordered water on the computer, and we never even received it. Not even after we were done eating. Also, it is also really slow. There was barely anything on the conveyer belts so you’d better be prepared to wait forever to actually receive what you want. Atmosphere was good, pretty clean."

"1st time trying kaitenzushi aka sushi train.We came around 6:30 ish on a Friday night , obviously we expected for a wait. Check in on a kiosk by the entryway, wait said about 30-50 mins and you'll receive a msg. When we got the message(35ish mins in) , went in and host said to wait another 20-30 mins. Finally got seated, the host asked if this was our first time .. we said yes . She said she'd assist us on the how to's but she never came back lol. I'm guessing she's overwhelmed. Anyways long story short we just did our own thing and explored. There's a screen by your table ,click away. Our drinks came fr those cute robots going around. There wasn't too many options for sushi so I also ordered ramen . The Ramen was good , The sushi was ok, could do better tho. Overall it was an experience ."

"This is the BEST Sushi place in Chicago. The food is always off the charts excellent. and so fun to watch food go by. I am so thrilled they crated a store in Skokie. I got the Golden Crunchy roll and seared Scallops. Just so great !!"
