"Trying Burmese food for the first time did not disappoint. The owner was very pleasant and welcoming. He assisted us in choosing some of the essential Burmese cuisine. We ordered leh phat thoke (tea leaves salad), moh hin gar, and tofu gyaw. They were all delicious and filling. Prices were fair. They have a private parking lot. I really enjoyed the decor. I will definitely come back and introduce more people to this place. Please support small businesses."

"We went as a group of four and we are no stranger to different Asian cuisines, but it was our first time trying Burmese. It was absolutely amazing! We ordered every single appetizer: the fried chickpea “tofu”, samusa, and fried bread were all delicious. The coconut chicken soup was so flavorful. We ordered two noodle dishes and enjoyed them both, along with the ginger salad. The mango chicken was also to die for. We told the owner/server we all liked spicy and everything was spiced perfectly. Hot enough, but not too much to ruin the tastes of the actual flavors. Next time I’ll be trying the tea leaf salad and desserts, as we simply had no more room this time! Highly recommend!"

"We met friends from Chicago, a group of 7, we enjoyed each dish tremendously and had lots of fun. Our friend drive 45 to 60 minutes every few months to enjoy their delicious cooking. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting. Always a great experience."

"If there was an option to give ten stars, this place will deserve them. The star of your dining experience is the owner. He will provide you with recommendations that are spot on. Try the house specials like tea leaf salad and the tofu dishes. The noodles are sumptuous and the gravy is tasty. You can opt for spice levels. Lots of options for a vegetarian. The best Burmese joint in Chicagoland."
