"Incredible pizza & the most affordable dinner these days. We got the generous Mariano pizza for 2, size medium, and we had plenty to take home. We sat at one of the tables inside for dinner. Nice staff, very simple dining-in experience, but we were just there for their amazing pizza and loved our experience. Will recommend for everyone in the Chicago suburbs."

"Traditionally probably more of a take out place but it was great to have a quiet place to talk and eat. The different pasta dishes we ordered were amazing! I had the chicken bruschetta and received 3 pieces of chicken! Homemade cheese sticks. Well worth it!"

"Nonno Carms does a lot of things right, but the pizza is just not worth the money. The sauce leaves something to be desired, but the cheese and toppings are plentiful. I ordered an extra large Mariano, medium Silvanna and small Pazzo. My total was just under $70.00 after tax and a mandatory $0.95 cent "support local" fee. I thought I supported local by buying from local stores/restaurants. At Nonno Carms it seems that is not good enough. The Good: Cheese and toppings are plentiful. The crust seems to be generously brushed with oil under the cheese. Some of the specialty pizzas are very clever combinations. Our favorite was the Silvanna. The Bad: The sauce and the price. There is simply not enough sauce and its flavor is weak. The sauce seems like it is somewhat thin. Not only would this explain the lack of flavor, but it also limits how much they can put on the pizza without causing the dough to undercook or giving the pizza a "wet" consistency. The generous amount of oil they brushed the crust with also lessens the amount of sauce that "sticks". The price is consistent with high end pizza places, but I don't believe that Nonno Carms meets that bar. I believe the pizza is about 25% too expensive for its quality. Preference specific: The crust is decent, but the crispy edges/doughy center may not appeal to everyone. The center of the extra large is not under cooked, but it is decidedly doughy. You will like this pizza if: you are a topping junkie and don't care about the lack of sauce or if you love calzones and are alright adding your sauce on the side. When I'm in the mood for pizza, this is not what I'm looking for, but that is my personal preference. I probably won't be back soon, but with the right craving, I would eat here again."

"Fast Service, good prices unfortunately this kind of pizza just isn't for me or the people we ate it with. It wasn't "bad" we just thought it had too many toppings which overpowered the flavor. We had the Mariano (sausage, green pepper, onion and mushrooms). I would try the regular food at this restaurant in the future."

"First time here and just a fantastic experience! We got the chicken francese and the baked sausage paisano, which was incredible! Probably one of my favorite pasta entrees I've had to date, though both were delicious. The serving sizes are quite generous and there's an extensive menu, with everything from pizza to burgers to salads, subs, etc. For dessert we got cannoli and tiramisu. The cannoli filling was perfectly smooth and creamy. A lot of times I find that cannoli filling can be a little gritty, because you can almost taste the powdered sugar, but these were just spot on, with just the right amount of sweetness. The tiramisu was great too! I heard their cheesecake was also much loved, so I swung by another day to try it, and it was worth the trip! The staff are wonderful. You can tell they love being there and treat one another as family. They are attentive, positive, and have great food recommendations. It's just a great atmosphere. There is limited seating inside - four tables of 4 currently, so the largest group would probably be 8 comfortably, but they do cater and deliver as well. Highly recommend for anyone in the Wheaton area, or visiting for graduation!"
