"I was left destitute, being a college graduate with no illegitimate kids disqualifies me I guess. At least, they gave me a $50 HEB card and offered to do a story on me... but I received NO RENTAL ASSISTANCE because they wanted me to pay half - If i need help, how can I pay half??? Still, GOD made a way. TRUST GOD, not these "ministries"..."

"I’ve been waiting for rental assistance for months First time I applied I wasn’t picked I reapplied and been waiting for rental assistance for 2 months You’ll end up homeless waiting on them and this the only place in my area that “helps” with rental assistance"

"Lord words alone can not say enough about the wonderful staff. I was about to be homeless. I was stressing, unable to sleep I completed the online application and I received an email from a wonderful staff member Who was very pleasant. I was in tears. Shouting for joy when I was told they could help me with my rent. I am forever Grateful Thank you all so much for your help. I can sleep without wondering if I am going to be evicted. God showed up and I pray that One day I am able to volunteer and give back to the organization with my time and effort. To make a difference in the lives of others. I am still recovering but I can do volunteer work from my wheelchair. May God richly bless each of you that made it possible for me. I am Thankful and grateful Thank you so much!"

"I applied at the beginning of December, and haven't heard a word since. They don't answer calls. I think they should be investigated for the way they're handling state and federal government grant funding because somebody is clearly stealing money here. Furthermore, the selection process seems to be biased at best. I'm gonna make some calls and see if I can get them audited."

"I was told that I could only get help with one month’s rent however, I have to come up with the rest of the balance. I’m behind 2 months I was fired from my job and not receiving unemployment. Don’t you think if I could come up with the balance I wouldn’t be needing assistance? NAM sounds so bogus and from reading the rest of the reviews I was right. It just didn’t make sense to me because none of the rental assistance places do that. The man told me they cant help me if I can’t come up with the rest of the balance sounded like to me they just didn't want to help smh"
