NWB Next Whiskey Bar Plainfield

"This is one of our favorite spots in Plainfield. My wife and i love the Saribachi burger and the Bacon wrapped shrimp. We also love the parmesan fries. We dont like the pork belly offered in many of their dishes but its up to you to decide. Its really known for their whiskey doughnuts Its a cozy atmosphere specially in the outdoor patio in the summer. Plenty of tvs. They always change their whisky mixed drink menu and the drinks are always delicious. Its not exactly cheap but nothing is now a days."

"I had the four citrus smash and my husband had the gin squeeze and they were both very good. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, which was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. We shared a burger because they were huge. We got the one with the cheesecurds. The whiskey donuts are definitely a must try. The staff members were super friendly, but the corner seating with the windows was very chilly to the point that we needed to eat with our coats on."

"This restaurant is situated in what looks like to be an old house that never got demolished and they just made a restaurant inside it. When you walk inside, you will find a nice social , semi loud setting with a bar right in the center. The whole time we were there, our service was very nice and friendly. Having said that, I was not very impressed with the food. Given that it's mainly a bar as the name suggests, I should've had low expectations anyway walking in, We had two burgers that are listed in the middle of the menu and seem like what their most popular burgers. The Big Jer and Suribachi. And on the side, we had natural cut fries and shoe string fries. If you do get fries, I would suggest natural cut fries. Not that they are anything exceptional, but the shoestring fries, which I thought would be crispy like... well.. shoestring fries that you see in other places were just a skinnier version of the regular fries. Nothing special and a bit cardboard-y taste to be honest. All in all, I would suggest going there for the social setting and the drinks. Have low expectations of the food and you will be just fine."

"A great place to relax with friends! The outdoor area is very pleasant. Definitely go to the website and you can see exactly how long the wait is. Burgers are yummy and drinks are creative and good."

"NWB is a terrific restaurant: great cocktails, delicious food, and an ambiance that's trendy but still intimate enough for date night. Make sure to order the amazing cheese curds and out-of-this-world doughnuts (think beignets) with caramel sauce for dipping!"
