"The chicken liteerally tastes like it was boiled... gross texture and bland...and the tacos are tiny and don't even come with lime... the hot sauce was decent which is the only reason they get 2 stars...I won't be going back"
"Update- just tried the children flauta and they're delicious. We always love the food. We have tried almost everything on the menu. Order for catering before and will order again. I always forget to take the picture because I'm so excited to eat. Attached is half a chimichanga, chicken tamale and beans rice and guacamole. Thank you for never disappointing us. Added a new photo of Taco dinner and beef burrito."
"Maybe a year ago I left a review. 5 stars. Everything was a 5. Best place around. Recently it’s just gone downhill, food quality, everything. And if you try to order online they’ll adjust your order due to add ons, even when no add ons were added. Can’t follow instructions on how to make the food. Last 4 times I’ve had to toss it because they added stuff that I can’t eat onto the tacos and burritos even though I specifically asked for certain things not to be added. Disappointing.."
"The chips are mediocre. The salsa that comes with the chips is not good either. The shrimp tacos only come with three shrimp and too much cilantro. The tacos have good flavor and the other salsas in plastic containers but nothing extraordinary. I give El Molcajete two stars as it needs more effort in offering unique dishes and ingredients. Very average Mexican food. Also need cleaner bathrooms. Loud music and tv at the same time."
"Best tacos in Joliet, asada, pastor, cabeza, quesabirrias and tripas all has an amazing flavor, the waitresses are really nice and helpful, the service is awesome."
