The Village Squire (West Dundee)

"We visited the Village Squire in West Dundee on Valentine's Day, and there was no wait. Our server was very friendly and was ob the spot with our order. We had a Mai Tai and a Bloody Mary to drink. They were perfect. Our appetizer was the fried Calamari, cooked to perfection, I would suggest adding a different different dipping sauce. We also ordered the chicke soup and french onion soup, very tasty. The main entry was a t-bone special with veggies, also cooked to perfection. Finally, the tiramisu cake for desert. We'll come back again and again"

"I remember this restaurant. It was a nice cozy place. Delicious food was prepared here. We drove 40 miles for it. But today it was a hive. It looked like a sports bar during the final of the football championship. Laughter and drunken shouts for the whole hall. Steak is simply not a tasty piece of fried meat without any spices. The same can be said about other food. But the popcorn was delicious))). So sorry. It was an unfortunate experience."

"Our first time at Village Squire. Loved the welcoming we got (including free popcorn!). Our waiter was beyond amazing, including offering to have the kids meals come out with the appetizers and checking in on us. Will definitely recommend 13/10"

"Friendly, warm place. Not large and open, but more enclosed. All wood trim, looking like a cabin. Service was quick and friendly. They have been in this place since 1974. Great outdoor patio along the Dundee riverwalk!"
