"I have been going here for 20 years. Normally the food is okay, but today I had the worst chicken ceaser salad from here. The chicken was very over cooked and burnt in spots. It was so over cooked it had a layer of hard chicken. They put too much dressing on the salad. There was enough dressing on it for 5 salads."
"Is Beef Villa located on Dundee in Elgin also ran by Mexicans? Stopped in to pick up dinner. Italian beefs cost $5.00 on Tuesdays starting at 4:00. Got there three minutes before, the guy made me wait until 5:00 on the dot. I ask for cheese fries, he gave me regular fries. When I asked him about it. He said I could get cheese on the side for 65cents. I will never go back there again. He was down right racist and rude!"
"Chicago-style Hot dogs are good. Italian beef is delicious! Be sure to get a large cheese fry! Gyros and cheeseburgers are good as well. Food is delicious and friendly service."
"Found this place in South Elgin. The food was good. Fries were a bit soggy, bit it didn’t affect the taste. I had a burger/gyro combo and it was okay. The prices were a bit high. The restaurant itself is a bit dated and could use an overhaul. However, it is clean. What most impressed me was the customer service. It was above and beyond…. But I was disappointed at the automatic tip suggestion. I don’t feel I should be told to tip. All in all , the place was decent and it did good."
"Hands down one of the best Italian beef sandwiches I've ever had. I'm not a fan of their gardinera but the beef is juicy and flavorful enough without it. Fries were also good. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again."
