"Best Gyros in the area! Fresh and hot when ordered and never skimpy with their ingredients!"

"I really wanted to grab a seat on the hype train for this place, but it was so underwhelming for almost $20. The food itself would have been $5 cheaper if I'd paid in cash, which I knew of beforehand, but the food simply wasn't worth $18 and change. If it had lived up to the hype reviews I've seen, I wouldn't have minded the 3.5% surcharge but the gyro plate was lukewarm, the cheese sauce was bland, but the fries were crispy and good. The staff was polite and timely, the place is clean and well kept. I'm just disappointed - I had high hopes. Looks like I have to keep searching. Hope this helps!"

"This place is great. It's a burger and gyro joint with options such as Chicago hot dogs, BBQ ribs, pizza puffs, chicken sandwiches, etc. Their gyros are my favorite. They're over stuffed with meat, and I like to ask for extra onions and tomatoes. Burgers are great as well, and I always have to get a pizza puff."

"We love the gyros plate. It's big enough for two, but on a good day, I can down the entire thing. The other day, we ordered chicken strips and two cheeseburgers, along with our regular gyro plate, for a school function. Everyone loved it. Like the cost of dining out across the nation, it feels like we're paying way more than we should. That being said, the food is tasty. We'll definitely be back."

"We were greeted nicely and the guy helped us and answered our questions. The place was very clean and everything well stocked. We each ordered the Greek gyros plate which has double meat. They use fresh ground lamb with their own spice mix to create their own unique flavor profile. Meat is soft, tender and delicious. The onions and tomatoes are nicely sliced on the plate. The tzatziki sauce is creamy and clings nicely to the meat. Order an extra pita and sauce if you order this huge plate. You’ll need it (in a good way)! French fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. We could only eat a few as there was so much meat on our plates! Super generous portions are given here! 1 gyro plate is enough for 2 people easily! I never had a chance to get to the fries. I only got through 1/2 of my plate and there was no room for desert! Great job Kosta’s! They told me they have a Kosta’s location in Palatine too which is a much closer location."
