"When I enrolled back a few years everything was great but now It's difficult to get services approved I had sholuder surgery and was in dire pain my prescription for tylenol codeine was not covered.Paharancy said insurance didn't cover it...knowing I just had surgery.why would the insurance not cover it if pain med is needed?...that I needed to pay $60 out of pocket figure I take tylenol instead of hydrocodone which oddly insurance does cover.I have Rhumatoid arthritis among other health issues and everytime I need a doctor I'm just worried the insurance will say you need a high co pay for x rays or CT scans...I'm scared to change but I'm tired of not getting answers from Humana Can't get through on phone have to keep calling and calling untill can get a person on phone"

"My husband lost his job and almost his life, in April he was hospitalized for 2 weeks. He has more problems than any individual deserves. His company cancelled his insurance and when I called to see what I could do Humana told me that because of the PANDEMIC they were not accepting any individual plans?! How is that? People are dying and they are cancelling medical help. Money. That's there bottom line. Not quality of life. Surprise."

"I had Humana for 8 years since I became disabled. At first they seemed to be a good company with many adicional benefited to Medicare. As time went buy they just got worse, and worse, until 2017 came along and not one of my doctors taked Humana anymore. As a matter of fact only universal medical center continues to take them. Any other hospital in El Paso refuces to take Humana. I originaly was not sure útil the office manager at my PCPs office and an admissions person at a providence said it the same thing "Humana does not pay their bills and they don't cover most of the prescriptions we perscribe to our patients... So let me get this straiGh Humana collects $200 monthly from, thier members socal security mostly also $49 in a booklet they send you every year for you to send and pay monthly, they also get $588 each from medicare, for each member they have enrolled. So this company is getting an avarage $840 a month per member, that is more than any group, plan, stand alone plan or Obama Care. Yet they do not take care of thier members by paying thier providers? This is a mayor ripoff and I wonder why no class action lawsuit is being filled against them. Also why has no one reported them to CMS or Texas department of insurance! These are major violations by this medicare advantage insurance!!!!"
